Term 2 week 1

It is so nice to be back at school and to see everyone again!
This term our big focus, is of course our production, Dragon Days. This will screen on 13th and 14th June, so please save the date and make sure all your whanau know they are warmly welcomed to come. The cost will be $2:00 per seat.
There is a lot of work to do before then - making scenery, learning lines, finding and making costumes and props..... But we have made a good start and so far the singing sounds great and we are all enjoying the process.
In the holidays we borrowed some resources from the COEC library - reading resources and some building equipment for those wet winter lunchtimes.

This week Constable Gordon visited us and talked to us about Cyber Safety. We will follow this up with the Doing the Right Thing Programme later on in the term.

Alex introduced us to his newest family member Indi - what a cutie! 

On Friday we had a visit from the circus, to give us a taste of what they can do.
