Week 2 proved to be a busy one, and now we only have one week until we are off to camp.
On Tuesday we were lucky enough to meet Jak's new puppy Max. What a cutie!



On Thursday we had a visit from Robert and Magaui of Kadodo African Drumming. They were amazing! This performance was paid for by a Creative Communities Grant from the Clutha District Council.




Also on Thursday, 8 students crossed the road to South Otago High School, for a Kapa Haka event, while the rest of us walked down to the Rec Centre for an excellent display about climate change. This looked at the effect of global warming on Antarctica, and therefore how the rest of the world will be effected.















We have a Teachers' College student, Miss Dowling, with us for 3 weeks. This week she be taking some group and class lessons in Room 8, so we are looking forward to that.
